January meeting: Saturday 17 January 2015

Mindfulness explored

Mindfulness is trending. But it's far from new for some people. Our regular member Tony Stellmacher has been practising it, on and off, since the 1970s.

What exactly does he do? Why did he start? Is he a Buddhist? What books does he recommend? Tony will answer these questions, and more, in a relaxed, interview-style event. The focus will be on his experience, with plenty of opportunity for others to share theirs too.

It's a great opportunity to be truly alive, present at every moment, paying attention purposefully and non-judgementally. Or, if you prefer, a chance to nod off in comfortable surroundings with agreeable company.

Everyone welcome - existing fans, newcomers and the simply curious.
