Upcoming events 2015

Quick alert on forthcoming events in the new year.

SoFLe meetings, in our usual venue, on Saturday afternoons are scheduled for:

• Saturday 17 January at 2:30 pm 
• Saturday 21 February at 2:30 pm
• Saturday 28 March at 2:30 pm

For the January meeting, we hope that group member Tony Stellmacher will help us explore Mindfulness. He's clear that he's not giving a talk. But he will lead the session. Expect it to be stimulating, memorable and very worthwhile. Wherever you go, there you are.

At another meeting in 2015 we hope to discuss some articles from the magazine Sofia. It's excellent, so we thought we should focus on it.

Some of us are looking forward to a retreat at Launde Abbey in January focusing on the thinking of Marcus Borg, particularly his book The Heart of Christianity. Starts Tuesday 20 January and finishes Thursday 22 January. Details from Launde Abbey.

Watch out for a Saturday event in April organised jointly by the Oadby and Market Harborough Progressive Christian Network groups. Topic is Faith, doubts and beliefs at the table together:  being communities of theological hospitality. The leader is Dr Val Webb. More details from Oadby PCN.
